Nursing to Public Health: My Journey to Fudan University

Good morning, dear professors and fellow candidates. It's my great honor to introduce myself here today. My name is XX, and I am a nursing undergraduate from Bengbu Medical College. I'm here because I have a dream, a dream of becoming a public health expert, and that's why I applied for the Master's program in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Fudan University.

As a nursing student, I've learned a lot about patient care, disease prevention, and health promotion. However, I believe that my knowledge and skills are not enough to meet the challenges of public health in the 21st century. That's why I decided to pursue further education in this field.

Fudan University is my top choice for several reasons. Firstly, it's one of the best universities in China, with a long history of excellence in education and research. Secondly, the School of Public Health at Fudan is renowned for its innovative teaching methods and cutting-edge research in various fields, such as epidemiology, health policy, and environmental health. Finally, Fudan is located in Shanghai, a dynamic and cosmopolitan city that offers endless opportunities for personal and professional growth.

If I am lucky enough to be admitted to Fudan, I will work hard to achieve my academic goals and contribute to the development of public health in China and beyond. I am confident that my background in nursing, combined with the rigorous training at Fudan, will enable me to make a positive impact on healthcare and society.
