Nursing to Public Health: My Journey to Fudan University

Good morning/afternoon, I am a nursing undergraduate student from Bengbu Medical College. I'm thrilled to be here today for the interview for the Public Health and Preventive Medicine program at Fudan University.

My nursing background has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of patient care, disease prevention, and health promotion. However, I'm eager to expand my horizons and make a larger impact on the well-being of the population. This passion led me to pursue a career in public health and preventive medicine.

During my undergraduate studies, I've gained valuable experience through clinical internships in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology. These experiences taught me the importance of providing high-quality patient care, effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I've been actively involved in community health promotion events and health education campaigns. These experiences have honed my communication and leadership skills and provided valuable insights into the public health challenges we face today.

I'm truly passionate about pursuing a career in public health and preventive medicine. I believe Fudan University's program will provide me with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a positive impact on the health of the population. Thank you for considering my application.
