The Girl Who Taught Me So Much: A Tribute to My Friend Zeo

I have a dear friend, let's call her Zeo, whom I met during high school. One day, while setting up a bulletin board, I noticed that Zeo had a very bold and beautiful handwriting, so I struck up a conversation with her. As I got to know her more, I realized how much I liked her. She never blindly followed the crowd and would not watch a TV show just because everyone else in class was watching it. She enjoyed collecting quotes and occasionally wrote her own poetry. Though she always appeared calm, I knew that she would sometimes roll her eyes to cope with negative emotions. She had her own principles and would seriously confront anyone who spoke offensively to her. She held herself to high standards and was great at learning from others' strengths. I clearly observed how she gradually accumulated virtues. Through her, I learned a lot. We did many silly things together, such as taking a ride on a kiddie train in the park. I miss the days we spent together and look forward to seeing her in the future.
