Public Health and Preventive Medicine Aspirant: From Nursing to Fudan University

'Hello everyone,

I am a nursing undergraduate from Bengbu Medical College, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Fudan University's School of Public Health. My passion for healthcare sparked during my childhood, leading me to choose nursing as my undergraduate major. I was drawn to the opportunity to help others and make a positive impact on their lives.

My time at Bengbu Medical College was marked by academic success, earning two school-level scholarships, including a second-class and a third-class scholarship. Beyond academics, I actively participated in extracurricular activities, earning recognition as an excellent member of various school organizations, an outstanding volunteer, and an exceptional class leader.

After gaining experience in a hospital setting, I realized the significance of addressing public health issues, prompting my decision to pursue a graduate degree in Public Health and Preventive Medicine. My studies at Fudan University have exposed me to diverse fields, including epidemiology, biostatistics, and health policy, deepening my understanding of public health principles. I have also been fortunate to participate in research projects and attend seminars and conferences, expanding my knowledge and professional network.

My goal is to utilize my knowledge and skills to improve the health of individuals and communities. I believe public health is a vital component of healthcare, and I am dedicated to contributing to its advancement.
