Thanksgiving and the Invisible Hand: A Reading Comprehension Exercise

And there is something 6) H wondrous in the way the activities of countless total strangers were so intricately organized and precisely timed to 7) C pull off it. Adam Smith called it 'the invisible hand'--the mysterious power that 8) J ride herd on countless people to promote ends that benefit many for the 9) gain of each. We should be 10) D grateful for the social wealth and the progress it makes possible.
