A 6-Year-Old's First Time Speaking in Class

One day, I went to school and my teacher asked me to speak in front of the class. I was so scared and didn't know what to say, so I asked her to wait a minute while I thought about it. Then, she told me to open my book to a certain page and write down a word. I couldn't spell the word correctly, and I felt so sorry. But my teacher told me it's okay and encouraged me to keep trying. Finally, I spoke in front of the class and everyone clapped for me! It made me feel really happy.
