Caked Cargo Found in No. 3 Cargo Hold: Observations and Analysis

Caked cargo was observed in No. 3 cargo hold, from the top to bottom layers, mainly concentrated on the periphery of the middle layer. The caked cargo could be broken easily by hand. The temperature of the top layer caked cargo was measured to be around 48℃ to 52℃.

Several foreign materials were mixed with the caked cargo. The main component of these foreign materials was pod, and the pods felt wet. Compared to sound cargo, some caked cargo was discolored, and some was moldy. The undersigned surveyor conducted a silver nitrate test on the caked cargo and found it to be free of Cl-.
