Development of a Compact and Efficient Side-Pumped Tm:YAG Laser System

In order to achieve high power laser output with high efficiency and reliability under near-room temperature conditions, we have decided to develop a compact Tm:YAG laser system. To accomplish this, we have adopted a side-pumped laser module and a short flat-flat cavity. Our focus has been on optimizing the laser module's structure to increase the absorbed pump power density within the Tm:YAG rod. We are confident that our efforts will result in a highly efficient and reliable laser system.
