Cargo Discharge Completed: Inspection Report and Subsequent Handling

Currently, the discharge has been completed as of 1930hrs tonight. According to the shore scale data, the discharged cargo quantity is 70,536 tons, which is almost identical to the bill of lading figure. Based on our inspection, the condition of the cargo is essentially the same as before, with a substantial amount of impurities and very poor flowability. Additionally, there are heat-damaged beans and even carbonized beans mixed in. We also conducted a further inspection of the cargo hold and did not find any leakage or other abnormalities.

The ITS sampling work is proceeding smoothly according to the original plan. According to the consignee's representative, customs formalities for the cargo have not yet been completed, so the cargo will need to be temporarily stored in the terminal. It is estimated that the formalities may take about a week. Afterward, the cargo will be transferred to their factory in Langfang City, Hebei Province. Regarding the subsequent handling of the cargo, the receiver intends to hold a meeting with relevant parties for discussion in the near future, but the specific schedule has not been determined.

We and the charterer's surveyor also went to the warehouse to inspect and measure the temperature of the goods. We noticed that the temperature of the goods in warehouse 203 was essentially the same as before, at around 30 degrees, while the temperature of the goods in warehouse 206 was between 35-41 degrees, slightly higher than before. However, we found that some areas of the goods, several centimeters deep below the surface, had already begun to mold. We informed the receiver and advised them to turn over the pile in a timely manner to maintain ventilation. It is their obligation to reduce losses and properly preserve the goods.
