Population Changes Under 15 and Over 65: Global Trends and Country Specific Analysis

According to this graph, all five nations would witness different levels of population changes. The population under 15 in India is shown to decline by 15% from 50% over these years. In contrast, the most significant increase can be seen in Korea, with the proportion doubling from 30% to 60%. Japan shows the second fastest rising tendency, with an increase of roughly 15%.

By 2050, the percentage of the population under 15 and above 65 in Korea will be the highest among all nations, while India and Indonesia will have the lowest proportions.
