Regional Disparities in Intelligent Development and Human Capital Misallocation in China
In view of the varied economic structures prevalent in cities across different regions of China, a regional group regression analysis was undertaken and the results are presented in Table 3. Generally speaking, the coefficients for intelligent development in all three major economic regions exhibit negative values. However, the western region evinces significant statistical significance in this regard, with a more pronounced impact in addressing the issue of human capital misallocation. Specifically, the eastern region benefits from the implementation of intelligent applications and technology, which in turn reduces misallocation. In recent times, the western region has made significant progress in intelligent development, leading to greater potential for improved conditions, applications, and technologies that can help mitigate human capital misallocation. Conversely, the central region's geopolitical location has caused it to become a significant outflow region, with the development of intelligent factors exacerbating its situation.
