Mediating Roles of Income Structure Adjustment and Human Capital Flow in Intelligent Development

This study employs a multi-equation system comprising Equations (2)-(4) to investigate the mediating role of Incomeit and Flowit. Incomeit refers to the adjustment of income structure, encompassing variables such as average income (Income_aveit) and income gap (Income_gapit), while Flowit pertains to the flow of human capital. The mediation effect is comprised of two components: independent mediation and chained mediation. The former involves the pathways of 'intelligent development→income structure adjustment→alleviation of human capital misallocation' and 'intelligent development→human capital flow→alleviation of human capital misallocation', while the latter involves the pathway of 'intelligent development→income structure adjustment→human capital flow→alleviation of human capital misallocation'.
