Spatial Correlation Relationships: Geographic and Economic Dimensions

Within the realm of spatial correlation, two distinct relationships exist: 'geographic correlation' and 'economic correlation'. In the former, two weight matrices are utilized, namely the 'geographic adjacency matrix' w1, representing the binary adjacency of cities, and the 'geographic distance weight matrix' w2, which is derived from the spherical distance between city centers based on their respective longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates. The latter is a matrix of 'economic distance weights', which are computed through the average GDP per capita from 2011 to 2019.
