Enhanced Image Encryption Scheme Based on Improved Lorenz System, Scrambling and Diffusion Synchronization
This paper presents an enhanced image encryption scheme based on an improved Lorenz system, scrambling, and diffusion synchronization. The proposed scheme utilizes an improved Lorenz system for generating chaotic sequences, which serve as the foundation for the encryption process. To enhance security, the scheme incorporates both scrambling and diffusion techniques. Scrambling disrupts the spatial correlation of pixels within the image, while diffusion spreads the influence of each pixel across the entire ciphertext. Synchronization between the scrambling and diffusion processes ensures the encryption's robustness. The security of the proposed scheme is thoroughly analyzed, considering various aspects like key space analysis, sensitivity analysis, and resistance to statistical attacks. The results demonstrate the high security and reliability of the proposed scheme. Furthermore, the scheme's effectiveness is validated through bulk image encryption experiments, showcasing its practical applicability and efficiency for securing large image datasets.
