Tm,Ho:YAG Rod Specifications and Cooling System

The size of the Tm,Ho:YAG rod is 'φ3×74 mm'², but the co-doped region is only 36mm at the center of the rod. On both ends, two 19mm pure YAG crystals are bonded. The end surfaces of the rod are anti-reflection (AR) coated at 2090nm. The rod is mounted inside a glass flow tube and directly cooled by water (8L/min). For compactness, the laser head in our design incorporates a single-channel temperature control system for both the crystal rod and pump modules, with only one external water cooler. The cooling temperature was set to 19℃ during the experiment.
