During the meeting, we explained the reason for the cargo damage to the consignee and expressed that the shipping company was not responsible for the cargo damage. The attending consignee stated that he would report to his superiors for further confirmation. Later, we received their verbal confirmation that if no other cargo damage was found, they would not claim compensation for the previously discovered cargo damage.
