Damaged Cargo Handling Update: Discharge Complete, Consignee Response Pending

The cargo discharge process is now complete and proceeded smoothly. We have contacted the duty foreman to discuss the storage and inspection of the damaged cargo. However, the foreman has expressed uncertainty regarding the follow-up procedures for handling the damaged cargo. As it is the weekend, we have been unable to contact the responsible party at the consignee's end. We are still awaiting clarification on the consignee's stance regarding the claim for the damaged cargo.
