Damaged Cargo Handling Update: Discharge Proceeding Smoothly, but Consignee Contact Pending

Currently, the discharge process is proceeding smoothly. We have reached out to the duty foreman for guidance on how to store and inspect the damaged cargo, but they have expressed uncertainty about the proper protocol. Unfortunately, due to it being the weekend, we have been unable to contact the appropriate representative from the consignee. Consequently, we are still uncertain about the consignee's stance on the claim for damaged cargo.
