Cargo Inspection Report: No Seawater Ingress Found, Possible Condensation Identified

During the discharge process, we conducted a thorough inspection of the cargo and found no visible abnormalities apart from poor flowability. We also examined the hatch and found it to be free from defects or signs of leakage. In addition, we conducted a silver nitrate test on both the cargo and the inner hatch, which resulted in a negative reading, indicating no seawater ingress.

However, upon opening the manhole cover, we discovered a significant amount of water droplets beneath it that did not react with silver nitrate. After questioning the crew, we learned that the manhole cover had not been opened for an extended period, and the rubber gaskets were in good condition. We suspect that the water droplets may have resulted from condensation.
