Cargo Inspection Report: No Seawater Ingress Found, Water Droplets Attributed to Sweat

During the unloading process, we thoroughly inspected the condition of the goods and observed only slightly poor liquidity, with no other abnormalities detected. A hatch inspection was also conducted, revealing no defects or signs of leakage. Furthermore, a silver nitrate test was performed on both the cargo and interior of the hatch, which showed no reaction, indicating that no seawater had penetrated the hold. However, upon opening the manhole cover to enter the hold, we discovered a significant number of water droplets beneath the cover, which did not react with silver nitrate. After speaking with the crew, we were informed that the manhole cover had not been opened in quite some time and that its sealing strip was still in good condition. As a result, we suspect that the water droplets may be due to sweat.
