During the unloading process, we inspected the condition of the goods and noticed that apart from slightly poor liquidity, no other obvious abnormalities were found. We also inspected the hatch and found no defects or signs of leakage. At the same time, we conducted a silver nitrate test on the cargo and the interior of the hatch, and found no reaction, indicating that no seawater had entered the hold. However, when we opened the manhole cover to enter the hold, we found a large number of water droplets under the cover, which did not react with silver nitrate. After asking the crew, we learned that the manhole cover had not been opened for a long time, and its sealing strip was in good condition. We suspect that the water droplets may be caused by sweat.
