Cargo Inspection Report: Slight Liquidity Issues, No Evidence of Seawater Ingress

During the unloading process, we thoroughly inspected the condition of the goods and noticed only slight liquidity issues, with no other apparent abnormalities. The hatch was also inspected and found to be free of defects or signs of leakage. Additionally, we conducted a silver nitrate test on both the cargo and the interior of the hatch, which showed no reaction, indicating that no seawater had entered the hold. However, upon opening the manhole cover to enter the hold, we discovered a significant amount of water droplets beneath the cover. These droplets did not react with silver nitrate. After speaking with the crew, we learned that the manhole cover had not been opened for some time and that its sealing strip was in excellent condition. Based on this information, we suspect that the water droplets may have been caused by condensation.
