OsCYP706C2 Gene Transfer into Yeast Strain WAT11 using pYeDP60 Vector

The WAT11 yeast strain, which is the wild-type, was grown in YPGA medium, while the transformed yeast was kept in SGI medium (17, 67). To transfer OsCYP706C2 into pYeDP60 (Supplementary Table 2), cloning, digestion, and ligation processes were conducted. The plasmids (pYeDP60-OsCYP706C2 and pYeDP60 empty vector) were separately introduced into the WAT11 yeast strain using the protocols of the S. c. EasyComp™ Transformation Kit from Invitrogen™.
