Balancing Work & IELTS Prep: My Journey to Environmental Protection

After work, I usually head to my favorite restaurant to enjoy a delicious dinner or lounge in bed to recharge. However, lately, I haven't been able to do either because I need to make time to prepare for my IELTS exam after work.

No, actually, I initially wanted to become a civil servant and even took the selection exam for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China. Although I passed many rounds of selection, I was ultimately not hired. I never thought about working for a company before, but since I'm already here, I want to do my job well. My company is an environmental protection company, and I believe that environmental protection is still very important. So even though it's not the job I always wanted, I accepted it and tried to make a bigger contribution in this position.
