Estimating Position Importance in Computational Design with Random Forest Models

This study employed a random forest (RF) model to assess the importance of every position investigated by computational design. In simpler terms, we used this model to understand which positions in the design process are the most crucial and impactful. The RF model effectively ranked these positions based on their influence, offering valuable information for optimizing the design process.
