Abstract: With the continuous development of society, the phenomenon of social polarization has gradually emerged. As the backbone of society, the positive mentality of college students is of great significance for personal growth and social progress. This paper aims to explore the impact of social polarization on the positive mentality of college students and propose corresponding cultivation measures. Through literature review and empirical research, it is found that social polarization has a negative impact on the positive mentality of college students, but also discovered some positive factors. Finally, this paper puts forward specific suggestions for cultivating the positive mentality of college students, in order to provide reference for the growth of college students and the progress of society.
