Cargo:

1. Container EITU1842706 contains a total of 48 pallets of cargo, stacked in 3 layers high and 2 rows of 8 columns.
2. The outermost layer of packaging consists of double-layer corrugated cardboard cartons placed on wooden pallets. The cargo is placed in plastic bags and then packaged in small cardboard boxes, with the small boxes supported and protected by corrugated paperboard in the carton.
3. The cardboard packaging of the three pallets located just next to the container door (directly below the hole) is damp and deformed, while the rest of the cargo's outer packaging is intact. The S/N test on the wet packaging yielded a negative result. The consignee believes that only the three affected pallets need further inspection for water damage.
4. The cargo in the three affected cartons are Angular Contact Ball Bearings, with 320 pieces per carton, totaling 960 pieces. Some of the internal small cardboard boxes have also been damp and deformed. There are water droplets or traces on the outside of the plastic bags, and some of the cargo's surfaces show oxidized color patches.
5. The cargo has been sent to the QC department for inspection and sorting. However, we were not allowed to enter the workshop and could only observe the process from outside. According to the consignee's sorting results, 648 pieces were considered intact and ready for use. The remaining 312 pieces have varying degrees of packaging damage or water damage and need further machine inspection.
6. According to the invoice provided by the consignee, the unit price of the cargo is 19.5 euros, and the total value of the 312 potentially affected pieces is 6,084 euros.
