In response, we advised the workers to first remove the fuel from the bilge well. Subsequently, we recommended using a mixture of oil dispersant to soak the pipes, ensuring that contaminated dispersant was constantly replaced until no oil traces remained inside. After this step, we advised rinsing the pipes with clean water. All oily water was then sent ashore for proper treatment.

During the boarding inspection on July 27th, we observed that the bilge well was clean and free from any obvious oil traces. Additionally, the crew inspected the internal filters by opening the pipes and found no signs of contamination. However, there were still some small oil stains present on the surrounding area of the hatch coaming. To address this issue, the workers continued the cleaning process using a mobile platform.
