In order to achieve a natural and primitive color, I ground natural turquoise and lapis lazuli and added adhesive to create a stronger gravel texture on the paper compared to ordinary mineral pigments, while still maintaining a flowing feeling. This texture harmonizes well with water-related scenes. However, in order to create more tension in the blending, I needed to improve the fixing technique, so I conducted some experiments. I used an iron, spray bottle, sulfuric acid paper, ink, dishwashing liquid, alcohol, salt, and other materials.

Visual gradients and blending are commonly used techniques in Chinese painting and various water-based paint mediums. By incorporating composite materials and new techniques into traditional blending, the sense of texture in the artwork can be greatly enhanced, thus improving the overall visual effect. In the end, I selectively used some of these gradient texture effects in the composition
