To protect the interests of both the ship and cargo, we engaged in negotiations with the terminal to secure the port's signature on the LOP. After extensive discussions, the terminal eventually agreed with our viewpoint that the incident was clearly evident, and it would be a waste of time to persistently refuse to sign the LOP prepared by the Master. Finally, at approximately 1200hrs on July 19, the port authority signed the LOP.
