To enable Chinese (zhs) support for the Arial Unicode MS font using the English version of Fontforge, you can follow these steps:

1. Open Fontforge and go to "File" > "Open" to open the Arial Unicode MS font file.
2. Once the font is opened, go to "Encoding" > "Compact" to compact the font encoding.
3. Next, go to "Encoding" > "Reencode" to open the Reencode window.
4. In the Reencode window, select "Unicode (UCS-2)" from the Encoding drop-down menu.
5. Scroll down the list of characters and find the Chinese (zhs) characters you want to enable. You can use the search bar to find specific characters.
6. Select the Chinese (zhs) characters you want to enable by clicking on them. You can select multiple characters by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking.
7. After selecting the characters, click on the "Add" button to add them to the "Selected" section.

9. Go to "File" > "Generate Fonts" to generate the modified font file with Chinese (zhs) support.
10. Choose the desired font format (e.g., TrueType or OpenType) and save the font file with a new name.
11. The new font file will now have Chinese (zhs) support enabled when used in applications that support Unicode fonts.
