In the Asia-Pacific region, China takes the lead, followed by Australia (371), Canada (245), Japan (146), and South Korea (115). The map clearly demonstrates the prominence of research contributions from major economies, while publications from scholars in Africa remain relatively limited.

3 Research Hot Topics 3.1 Co-occurrence analysis of keywords This paper utilizes Citespace and Vosviewer to construct co-occurrence maps of keywords in carbon finance and carbon market-related literature, aiming to analyze the research hot topics, as shown in Figure 4. In Figure 4, keywords such as "carbon emission," "emission control," "emission trading," "environmental economics," "climate change," "China," "pollution tax," "carbon tax," and "environmental policy" are represented by larger and more frequently occurring nodes. Against the backdrop of escalating greenhouse gas emissions, particularly carbon dioxide, and the resulting deterioration of global climate conditions, countries have implemented environmental policies and corresponding measures. Carbon taxes and emission trading are the two primary approaches for controlling carbon emissions. Quantity control and trading systems serve as effective mechanisms within the carbon emission trading system. The decision-making process of companies regarding carbon reduction under carbon taxes and quantity control and trading systems has attracted considerable attention from numerous scholars due to global efforts to reduce carbon emissions. Additionally, among these keywords, China, the United States, and the European Union appear with higher frequencies, indicating the significant roles played by these countries in both the generation of greenhouse gases and addressing climate change
