In comparison to some Lycopodiaceae (Selaginella), the plastome sequence of Phlegmariurus did not show any significant variations in the IR regions (Figure 3). Multiple samples within one species were stable and exhibited minimal variations. The plastome phylogram clearly separated each species of Phlegmariurus in our study (Figure 5).
