Variability Mechanisms Beyond Intrinsic Variability (IC)

This study investigates variability mechanisms in astronomical objects, focusing on those beyond intrinsic variability (IC). While IC refers to variations originating within the object itself, this research explores alternative explanations for observed variations, excluding those directly attributed to internal processes. These mechanisms, often referred to as 'extrinsic variability,' encompass a wide range of phenomena, including gravitational lensing, microlensing, interstellar scintillation, and variability induced by the environment surrounding the object. The research delves into the theoretical frameworks and observational signatures associated with these mechanisms, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the diverse factors that contribute to the variability of astronomical objects.
