The old dog's eyes sparkled with joy as she wagged her tail even harder, finally finding the happiness she had been missing.

The puppy, named Daisy, quickly became Poppy's shadow. They played together, slept together, and even ate together. Poppy's owners watched in amazement as their old dog transformed into a lively, energetic companion once again. The house was filled with laughter and barks, and the emptiness left by their son's departure slowly faded away.
