Dear fellow citizens,

I am honored to speak with you today about the rule of law, a topic that is crucial for all of us to pay attention to and participate in.

Since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, we have made significant progress in law-based governance and have defined the guiding philosophy, development path, work plan, and key tasks of law-based governance. The Chinese people have always believed that a sound system of law leads to order, and this traditional wisdom has been integrated into the idea of comprehensively advancing law-based governance.

Why is the rule of law so important to us? Firstly, the rule of law guarantees our rights and freedoms. In a society under the rule of law, every citizen has an equal legal status. As long as we obey the law, we can enjoy freedom, security, and dignity.

Secondly, the rule of law promotes economic development and social progress. Only in a society that is ruled by law, fair and stable, can enterprises and individuals invest, produce and develop. The rule of law protects the rights and interests of all aspects of society, providing a powerful guarantee for economic development and social progress.

Finally, the rule of law helps maintain international peace and security. A country that is governed according to law has a higher reputation and prestige in the international community, which also helps to maintain international peace and security.

Therefore, each and every one of us should play a role in the construction of the rule of law. We must learn the Constitution, laws, and regulations, enhance our awareness of the rule of law, actively participate in judicial activities, consciously abide by the law, safeguard the authority of the law, and contribute to the realization of the Chinese dream.

In conclusion, let us work together to build a society that is ruled by law, where every citizen is equal before the law, and where economic development and social progress are guaranteed. Thank you
