Recently PdSe2 with great air-stability and a large bandgap tunability ranging from 003 eV bulk to ∼13 eV monolayer has been a new candidate for optoelectronic applications at NIR and MIR 29−32 Moreov
In recent times, PdSe2 has emerged as a promising candidate for optoelectronic applications at Near-Infrared (NIR) and Mid-Infrared (MIR) wavelengths. This is attributed to its remarkable air-stability and large bandgap tunability, which ranges from 0.03 eV (in its bulk form) to approximately 1.3 eV (in its monolayer form). This unique combination of properties makes it highly attractive for use in optoelectronic devices. Additionally, PdSe2 can be obtained at the wafer-scale by a simple selenization process of pre-deposited Pd film, and at the centimeter-scale by chemical vapor deposition method, thus ensuring the fabrication of device arrays
