My brother and I were taught from the time we were teenagers to cook Mom worked when we were of that age and it wasnt fair to wait on her at the door saying whats for dinner when we were capable ourse

So, mom made sure we learned how to cook simple meals, and as we grew older, we learned more complex dishes. It was a great skill to have, especially when we went off to college and had to fend for ourselves.

Now as adults, my brother and I both love cooking and enjoy trying out new recipes. We often have cooking competitions where we challenge each other to come up with the best dish.

Our mom is proud of us for being independent and self-sufficient in the kitchen. She always says that cooking is not just a chore but also a way to express creativity and love for those we cook for.
