Upon increasing the CH4 content to 25%, compared to the pure CO2 system, more oil phases dissolve in the gas phase in a single molecule form within the first 1000 ps. At 2000 ps, a considerable number of gas phase molecules enter the oil layer, causing significant expansion and dispersion of the oil layer. By 4000 ps, the oil layer is almost entirely dispersed into the gas phase, with some oil molecules still remaining near the quartz. In the case of CH4 content at 50% and 100%, only a few gas phase molecules enter the area between the oil layer and the quartz surface, with most of the gas phase molecules entering the interior of the oil layer, leading to the expansion of the oil layer.
