On July 4th and 5th, the "China-ASEAN Emerging Industries Forum" was held in Shenzhen, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. The forum's "Energy Electronics Industry Cooperation Sub-forum" was held on the morning of July 5th. It aimed to provide a platform for policy coordination, project construction, technology exchange, talent communication, and market development between China and ASEAN countries in the field of energy electronics. The forum aimed to continuously improve the level of cooperation and development in the energy electronics industry between China and ASEAN.

During the forum, Qiao Yueshan, Director of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated in his welcome speech that China and ASEAN have a strong foundation and great prospects for cooperation in the field of energy electronics, and both have the need to promote the development of the energy electronics industry in line with industrial development trends. China is willing to work together with ASEAN countries to actively respond to industrial development trends, consolidate our cooperation foundation in the field of new energy, and promote the construction of a more open energy electronics cooperation situation to achieve higher-level cooperation and win-win outcomes.
Nuki Agya Utama, Executive Director of the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), delivered a video speech introducing the objectives, tasks, and progress of the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC) (2021-2025), as well as the achievements and future plans of ACE in technical cooperation, knowledge sharing, and policy coordination in the energy sector of ASEAN countries. He expressed the commitment to further promote cooperation between ASEAN and China in the energy electronics industry.
Chen Huaping, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, stated in his speech that Shenzhen has attached great importance to the development of the energy electronics industry in recent years. With policy guidance, enterprises have actively entered the field of energy electronics, stimulating innovation and entrepreneurship. Shenzhen has formed a relatively complete energy electronics industrial chain, and companies such as Huawei, Xinwangda, and Keli Electronics have become important participants in clean energy and energy storage construction in ASEAN countries. It is hoped that through this forum, experts and entrepreneurs from home and abroad can strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of energy electronics, and accelerate the integration and development of China-ASEAN energy electronics industry.
Ding Rongjun, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a keynote speech on "Concept Analysis and Industrial Development of Energy Electronics". He detailed the concept of energy electronics from the perspectives of development necessity, development goals, key tasks, and guarantee measures. He also systematically introduced the development scale and technological trends of key industries such as photovoltaics and energy storage, and proposed suggestions such as increasing investment in basic research and development, strengthening the foundation of industrial talents, and improving the development ecology of the industry.
Li Zhenguo, Founder and President of Longi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech on "Practice and Reflection on International Cooperation in Photovoltaic Production Capacity". He analyzed the energy transition path and the development situation of the photovoltaic industry, introduced Longi Green Energy's business layout, production capacity distribution, and technological capabilities, and expressed the company's continuous investment in the ASEAN region and its commitment to maintaining an open and cooperative attitude in the energy field.
Alberto Dalusung III, Energy Transition Advisor of the Climate Change and Sustainable Cities Research Institute of the Republic of the Philippines, delivered a keynote speech on "Innovation Cooperation Development of ASEAN in the Background of Energy Transition". He provided a comprehensive introduction to the energy transition history of the Philippines and the application prospects of energy electronics technologies in fields such as electric vehicles. He also extended a cooperation invitation to companies from China and ASEAN countries attending the China-ASEAN Emerging Industries Forum.
Liu Jingyu, Chairman of China Innovation Aviation Technology Group Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech on "Exploration and Suggestions on Cooperation in the Field of Energy Storage in China-ASEAN". He discussed the energy transition in the context of carbon neutrality and introduced the technology accumulation of energy storage in China. Wang Hao, CEO of Ronghao (International) Group of Myanmar, delivered a keynote speech on "Expectations and Challenges of the Photovoltaic Power Generation Market in Myanmar".
