The fourth China (Indonesia) Trade Fair, which lasted for three days, concluded on May 26th. The exhibition attracted nearly 800 companies from 13 provinces and 40 cities across the country, with 221 exhibitors from Wenzhou, occupying a total of 318 booths.

The exhibition was organized by the Wenzhou Municipal People's Government and supported by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce. It was jointly hosted by the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Ningbo Trade Promotion Association. The exhibition combined physical displays with internet services, marking the first time that the Wenzhou Municipal Government has held an exhibition in Indonesia. The offline exhibition was held at the Jakarta International Expo Center and included nine professional exhibitions, including textile and clothing, home and gift, beauty and hairdressing, household appliances, building materials and hardware, power and energy, industrial machinery, consumer electronics, and automotive motorcycle accessories, with a total of over 1,000 booths and an exhibition area of ​​over 20,000 square meters.

According to incomplete statistics, more than 50,000 professional visitors attended the exhibition during the three-day period. A number of companies, such as Wenzhou Xinguang International Trade Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Liwo Electric Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Jiaxiong Automotive and Motorcycle Accessories Co., Ltd., and Wenzhou Sanying Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., concluded on-site transactions. The participating companies received enthusiastic feedback from buyers.

During the exhibition, six industry forums were held simultaneously, including the China-Indonesia Automotive Parts Industry Cooperation Forum, China-Indonesia Business Cooperation Forum, China-Indonesia Retail Industry Cooperation Forum, and China-Indonesia Building Materials Industry Cooperation Forum, to help Chinese companies seize business opportunities in Indonesia.

Indonesia and Wenzhou have maintained close exchanges in the fields of economy and trade for a long time. In 2022, Wenzhou's imports and exports to Indonesia reached 31 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 54.7%, of which exports amounted to 15.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 85.8%.
