In this study, we obtained a total of five transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana strains. The experiments were mainly conducted in petri dishes, primarily considering the uniformity and large quantity of plant material for determining survival rate and ion permeability. Only necessary photographs of Arabidopsis plant material treated were included in the manuscript. Additional images of Arabidopsis plant materials under normal growth conditions have been added to Supplementary Figure S7.
