Abstract: Landslides are natural hazards that pose significant risks to infrastructure, causing extensive damage and disrupting human activities. This study aims to analyze the effects of landslides on infrastructure and propose mitigation strategies by conducting a case study in a landslide-prone region.

The research background highlights the increasing frequency and severity of landslides worldwide and their adverse impact on infrastructure. The objective of this study is to assess the geotechnical characteristics of the landslide-prone area, evaluate the vulnerability of existing infrastructure, and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate the risks associated with landslides.

In this study, a comprehensive field investigation was conducted to collect relevant data, including geological and geotechnical parameters of the study area. Laboratory tests were performed to determine soil properties, such as cohesion, angle of internal friction, permeability, and shear strength.
