The purpose of this internship is to:

1. Develop the ability to flexibly apply learned knowledge and transform it into the ability to solve complex engineering problems in projects.
2. Apply the basic principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences to analyze complex engineering problems and obtain effective conclusions through program design and implementation.
3. Possess innovative awareness and consider environmental, safety, and economic factors to design feasible solutions for complex engineering projects.
4. Cultivate the ability to conduct independent research and critical thinking through project practice.
5. Familiarize oneself with modern engineering tools and equipment, information technology tools, and develop, select, and use appropriate resources based on complex engineering problems.
6. Understand the integration of engineering project processes and relevant technology issues in daily life.
7. Understand the impact of engineering practice on environmental and social sustainable development.
8. Cultivate a sense of social responsibility, understand and abide by engineering professional ethics and norms, and fulfill responsibilities in engineering practice.
9. Have a sense of teamwork, assume the roles of individual, team member, and leader in project teams, and understand the rights and obligations of different roles.

In the engineering internship, students will simulate actual engineering project execution by forming project teams. They will independently complete problem analysis, program design, implementation, result verification, and summary reporting based on complex engineering project topics. This will cultivate their ability to design, integrate, apply, and develop software and hardware in communication systems and their applications. It will also cultivate their ability to learn independently and communicate effectively, inspire innovation and entrepreneurship awareness, and improve their overall quality, achieving the coordinated development of knowledge, abilities, and qualities.
