Hello, I am Pan Yifan, an assistant researcher at the College of Life Sciences, Hebei University. I obtained my Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Dalian University of Technology and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019 and 2022 respectively. Currently, I am working at the research group of Environmental Adaptation and Ecological Genomics led by academician Kong Le at the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
My main research focus is on the correlation and prediction of cross-species toxic effects. I am particularly interested in understanding how different species respond to toxic substances and how these responses can be predicted and utilized for environmental risk assessment. By studying the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying toxicity, I aim to contribute to the development of more effective strategies for ecotoxicological research and environmental management.
During my academic journey, I have gained valuable research experience and skills in molecular biology, genetics, and toxicology. I have published several research papers in reputable scientific journals and have actively participated in national and international conferences to share and exchange knowledge with fellow researchers.
Apart from my research work, I am also passionate about promoting scientific communication and education. I have volunteered as a mentor for undergraduate students, guiding them through scientific research projects and helping them develop critical thinking and experimental skills.
I am excited about the opportunity to work with esteemed researchers at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and contribute to the field of environmental adaptation and ecological genomics. I believe that my interdisciplinary background and research experience will enable me to make meaningful contributions to the team and further advance our understanding of the complex interactions between organisms and their environment.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of joining your esteemed research group and contributing to the advancement of science and environmental conservation
