My name is Yifan Pan, and I am currently working as an Assistant Researcher at the College of Life Sciences, Hebei University. I obtained my Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Dalian University of Technology and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019 and 2022 respectively. Currently, I am employed at the research group of Professor Le Kang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on environmental adaptation and ecological genomics.

My primary research interest lies in the field of cross-species toxicological effect correlation and prediction. I am passionate about understanding the mechanisms behind the toxic effects of chemical substances on different species and using this knowledge to predict and mitigate potential harm to both the environment and human health.

During my academic journey, I have been fortunate to collaborate with renowned scientists and contribute to several research projects. These experiences have not only enriched my scientific knowledge but also honed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In addition to my research work, I am also actively involved in scientific outreach activities. I believe in the importance of disseminating scientific knowledge to the public and inspiring the younger generation to pursue careers in STEM fields.
