This study included 402 patients with stage III colon cancer who underwent primary tumor resection and adjuvant chemotherapy with the XELOX regimen. The patients were followed up for at least 3 months after chemotherapy. The tumor specimens were analyzed for lymphovascular invasion (LVI) and perineural invasion (PNI) status. The patients were monitored for disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS). Statistical analyses were performed to identify independent risk factors for survival outcomes
