赴洛道中作其二翻译

On the Way to Luoyang, Part Two

阴山下路转迂，虢国夫人逐，双鞾归来久。豆蔻梢头鸳鸯女，采桑径口夫壻呼。赤栏横宿娇初睡，绿槐散发瘴乍舒。起来携儿问前程，路言无害荐居无。

此时相望不相闻，愿逐月华流照君。鸟宿池边树，僧敲月下门。

Translation:

The road turns and twists at the foot of the Yin Mountains, The Lady of Guo follows me, her double-laced shoes leaving trails behind. We've been walking for a long time, and her hairpin is still adorned with cardamom buds. At the mulberry path, her husband calls her home.

We spend the night at a red fence, where she falls asleep, still a virgin. The green locust trees emit a noxious fragrance. I rise with my son and ask about the future, The road ahead is safe, and I recommend her to settle down.

At this moment, we look at each other but don't speak, I wish to follow the moon and shine upon you. Birds perch on the trees near the pond, A monk knocks on the door under the moonlight
