The three LD arrays are symmetrically arranged around the reflector in a tri-fold fashion. The inner surface of the reflector has a high reflectivity (R>97%), which enables the pump light to be reflected uniformly within the crystal rod. This results in the formation of a uniform pump distribution, facilitating optimal laser performance.
