Wet Cargo Investigation: Insufficient Evidence to Determine Cause

Currently, there is insufficient evidence to conclusively determine the cause of the wet cargo. Although the warehouse keeper reported that the cargo was wet upon opening the containers, there is no accompanying photographic or other evidence to confirm that the wetness was caused during transportation. Furthermore, no damage to the containers was detected during transport. Based on our observations of the cargo at the warehouse, we cannot rule out the possibilities that the cargo was already wet prior to being loaded into the container or that water entered from the bottom floor during transportation or storage at the terminal.
